Day 1 Muscat tour

Day 1 Muscat tour

Day 2 Coastal Tour – Sur

In the Morning, we will drive on a scenic road with good views towards the Arabian Sea passing Quriyat, and then to Hawiyat Najm Park, you will see its geological formation and hear its story as well. From there we will drive to the famous Wadi Shaab, where the canyon water meets with seawater and you will have a chance to do hiking for one hour there. After the lunch, we will carry on to Tiwi Village and will drive through Wadi Tiwi for a tour, with a chance to walk there. The coastal City of Sur will enable us to see a traditional Dhow (Fateh Al Khair), which was made in Sur more than eighty years ago. Then visit to a traditional Dhow factory.

Day 3 Wadi bani Khalid and the Desert

Tour to Wadi Bani Khalid; you will enjoy its fresh water pools, also you will have a chance to walk there and have a lunch at the pool side. Then we will head to the desert in the late afternoon via Bidiyah village, unforgettable moments as the sun sets behind sand dunes. In the night, you will enjoy watching stars in a beautiful clear sky - blessing moments.

Day 4 The Desert and the Mountain

In the morning, there will be a chance for a
camel ride between sand dunes after that we
depart towards Ibra and Al Munzefa (an old
archeological Omani village). From there
towards Jabel Al Akhdar, the “Green
Mountain “plateau which is 2200 Meters
above sea level with its cool temperature,
agricultural diversity and nice villages with a
walk between garden terraces at the slope of
the mountain.

Day 5 Nizwa and Culture Heritage

Visit the old Oman capital Nizwa with a tour
of its Fort and the traditional Suq with silver
works and antiques. Then Drive to Jabreen
Fort, an old palace That was built in the 17th
century in Bahla. In the afternoon we carry on
to an old mountain village, Misfat Al
Abriyeen situated near Al Hamra and will do
a Culture tour and get an insight about village
history, irrigating system and agriculture.
Spend one night in Misfah Traditional Old
House, which resembles an old clay made
houses of Oman, famous in the past.

Day 6 Al Hamra Tour

Tour of Al Hamra, famous for its traditional
three stories clay made houses and terraces.
Visit the local museum Bait Al Safa, which
tells a story and gives an in-depth view about
the life in the past. Another inspiring
experience will be Grand Canyon and Jabel
Shams plateau at 2000 meters above sea level.
You will have a chance to do trekking for
about four hours to an abandoned village at
the steep slopes of the Canyon.

Day 7 Al Hoota Cave

Visit Al Hoota Cave in Al Hamra, which was
formed by the dissolution of limestone over a
millions years ago. The cave is around five
kilometer long and has two underground
lakes. It contains a rich ecosystem and the
guided tour takes about 45 minutes for the
first 500meters, which is open to the public.
Later we will drive up to Sharaf Al Alamayn
with its scenic views.

Day 8 Wadi bani Awf – Muscat

Drive down through Wadi bani Awf and a tour
to old village of Balad Seet. From there we
will drive along the road towards Nakhal,
which again is famous for its oasis and hot
spring “Ain Al Thawwara”. Drive back to
your hotel in Muscat.
