A tour to Jabel Akhdar with geological insight with fun. We also do some hiking through terraces. Experience the Nizwa Tour, Forts and Castles and Old Suq & Antiquities. Culture Tour in Misfat Al Abriyeen. Explore the Traditional Omani House, Al Hamra Tour, visit the Museum and then trekking and some adventure. We go to Jabel Shams and the Al Hoota Cave, Sharf Al Alamayn and then Al Hoota Rest House. We also visit the Wadi Bani Awf and Balad Seet and Nakhal Villages.
Visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Bausher, which is considered an architectural wonder with its minarets and wall decorations with fine details and wonderful glass works. A one-piece carpet weighs up to 21 tons and is made out of 1700,000,000 knots. A Swarovski crystal chandelier hangs in the main prayer room with a diameter of eight meters, you will get a good impression about the Grand Mosque and about Islamic Culture then a visit to the Fish Market in Muttrah and to Bait Al Zubair Museum, then followed by a walk towards Muttrah traditional souq, which is full of antiquities.
Tour of Al Hamra, famous for its traditional three stories clay made houses and terraces. Visit the local museum Bait Al Safa, which tells a story and gives an in-depth view about the life in the past. Another inspiring experience will be Grand Canyon and Jabel Shams plateau at 2000 meters above sea level. You will have a chance to do trekking for about four hours to an abandoned village at the steep slopes of the Canyon.
After breakfast, start your overnight camping tour from the village of Misfah. Donkeys will be provided and used to carry the food and camping equipment. Trek through the gardens of Misfah and Wadis along the way to reach Aqpa Al-Hamra. The route is very scenic and provides ample of photo opportunities. The sunlight reflecting on the surrounding mountain ranges call for a beautiful camera click.
After approximately 5 hours of trekking with the donkeys, we’ll reach Al-Sharaf at 2000 metres by afternoon. Setup camp for the evening. You are free to enjoy a short walk around the camp area to view the north face of the Al Hajar mountain (wadi Al Sahtan ). Overnight camping.
After breakfast, wrap up the camp and start your trek through East along with the ridge of the mountain until Sharaf AL Alamayn where you will witness some breathtaking views of Wadi Sahtan and Wadi Bani Awf villages.
The walk will be for seven hours without donkeys since the Trek is not suitable for the donkeys.

You usually go our for walks and you are comfortable walking for 1 – 4 hours in forest roads, gravel trails and uneven terrain, and change gear efficiently.

International flights arrive multiple times throughout the week from Muscat Oman.

Arrival and departure details
We strongly advise that you arrive a day or two before the first day of your adventure, to allow you to recover from your travels and to make sure that any flight or baggage delays don’t impact on the start of your adventure with us.
On the last day of your trekking tour Oman, please book flights departing no earlier than 2pm, if at all possible. If your flight departs much earlier, we can arrange a separate transfer, but this will be at your own expense.
The official currency of Oman is the Omani Rial (OMR).
